Chef Jennifer Monahan has been cooking since she was a child. Like many chefs, her education began in the kitchen with her mother. In her family, al reunions and holiday celebrations involved cooking and eating. This time with family are some of her fondest memories. One of her core beliefs is that quality time with family helps to develop relationships and build a stable family. Her goal is to give today’s children the opportunity to enjoy this family time.  After a few years in the IT consulting industry, she decided to follow her passion for cooking. She attended the Art Institute of Atlanta and received an AA in 2006. She has completed the Professional Personal Chef course with the Culinary Business Academy. She is a Certified Pastry Culinarian with American Culinary Federation and a member of the United States Personal Chef Association. She has also been trained in Serv-Safe standards and in Nutrition. She lived in Atlanta for 2 years, before moving to Charlotte in October 2006 with her husband, Ruari. |
